Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) Analyzer

The Rubicon Toolbox DCP Analyzer Tool is used to interpret results of Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) tests. The DCP Analyzer was designed for rapid identification of layer interfaces through a graphical, user-controlled process, and for summary of material properties within the identified interfaces.

The DCP Analyzer allows users to import DCP test data collected in the field through Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. Users can select from which sheet data should be imported, and therefore results for an entire project can be stored within one Excel Workbook if needed. Once the Depth and Number of Blows information is imported, the data is plotted graphically. Users can then identify and position layer interfaces.

Layer properties for the current interface selection are automatically displayed on screen and can also be summarized in a neat one-page report. The DCP Analyzer Report is ideal to use in pavement rehabilitation reports, and shows the Penetration Curve and Layer-Strength Diagram and summarizes key properties of identified layers.
